We provide both individual and group activities at our achievement and independent learning and support centres:

Centre Operating Hours:                Monday to Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm

Stafford Heights : Activities and therapy for adults with high support needs including medical needs. The programme offers a range of community and centre based activities including Hydrotherapy, Exercise, Music and Sensory therapy in the light/snoezelan room.  Communication skills, computer activities and independent living skills such as cooking are part of the core programme.

Mitchelton Centre: Activities focus on Independent learning and living skills and community access for people with mild to moderate support needs. Work experience programmes include gardening and animal care. The centre also operates a Community Shop as part of the work experience programme.  Literacy and Numeracy skills, Relationship skills and Independent Living skills such as                                         budgeting and time management.

Burpengary Centre : Activities are provided in two streams for adults with high support needs and a separate programme for people with mild to moderate support needs.  Set on 5 Acres the centre has swimming facilities, large accessible gardens and an animal care programme including horse care.  Programmes have an additional focus on art and craft. 

Individual support can be arranged in your local area for people wishing to pursue individual community based activities. These supports can be provided during the week and weekends to suit your needs. Clients are supported to access the community, learn independent living skills or receive in home support. This service is available in Brisbane and some regional areas. Please contact the office to discuss your particular support needs. This service option may suit people who are pursuing an independent lifestyle in the community or those requiring in home care due to health.
