A number of events are occurring through May - The Landsborough Park camp was held with great success and the Adventure Sailing programme has kicked off - ( see the Photo section ). In addition we have been involved in a number of EXPO's promoting support options for young people with special needs at the Woody Point Expo on 20th May and at the Southbank Convention Centre - Tuesday 27th May. The Mitchelton Campus is also holding an Open Day on Friday the 30th May.
New resources have been purchased this month and installed including a fantastic gym facility and a range of educational resources for programmes.
We have also received an information kit courtesy from Disability Services Queensland about the Disability Services Act, which includes a DVD and information . This is available for loan if any client or parent/carer is interested. Please contact the office to arrange this.
The Ablecare Handbook for 2008/2009 is now being distributed to people enrolled on the post school programme. If you have not received a copy, please contact the office and we will post one out to you.
