IN A SECOND EVERYTHING CHANGES....

It is a tragedy that in today's society that so many people with disabilities and their families endure hardships, tragedy and stress that leads to family breakdown and divorce, separation from children and loved ones, loneliness and despair.  The stories highlighted here are REAL ...your support can make a difference....any one of these families could be yours.....We need your help today to make a change and help provide a future with hope, care and love.  We believe that by sharing stories such as this we can achieve the community support and care that these people need.

ANGELA  40 - mother of 2 children ( 3yrs and 5 Years ).  Angela was diagnosed 2 years ago with a rare muscular and neurological disorder. Within 6 months she could barely walk...  She will deteriorate over the next few years suffering liver failure, muscle failure, kidney failure...every organ in her body will be affected and she is likely to develop epilepsy and lose all physical and motor function needing 24 hour care. She has no family support and she now risks losing her children as it becomes increasingly difficult to care for them.    She needs support to provide therapy, in home care and family support to help her to see her children ...Children need their mothers....and she needs them.  With therapy and support we can hope to provide hope and happiness to her family over this period...without support she will lose her children and be left lonely in a nursing home.  Your support will make an immediate difference.DONATE NOW ! BRIANNA  33 - An unexpected Stroke, has devastated the future for Brianna. She no longer is able to work and has no choice but to live in a hostel for homeless people.  She is unable to walk independently, shower or take herself to the toilet.  She has no opportunity to go out or socialise. RAYMOND 27 - Raymond's mother suffers from a severe mental health illness requiring frequent hospitalisation , He has an intellectual disability and has been subject to years of neglect and abuse from people taking advantage of his situation.  Raymond needs support to help him to live independently and safely and to break the cycle of abuse and neglect....without support he is at risk of abuse, neglect and homelessness...with support he can be supported to learn independent living skills, relationship skills and be supported to learn vocational skills and become a valued member of society.                                     DONATE NOW ! MARKHAM 38 -  Car Accident Victim, Father of  3 children - As the driver of his vehicle Markham was not entitled to any compensation.  He was discharged to a nursing home and receives no rehabilitative therapy or disability support.  He does not access the community and is bedridden.  His family has been left devastated and he is unable to live at home due to his care needs.  With therapy and support he has the potential to improve his independence and motor skills and return home to his family...Without support, his young family faces a desperate and lonely future and his children will not have the opportunity to know their father.    Your support will make an immediate difference .                            DONATE NOW !
